| So this is my first time doing this and idk if I'll continue but anyway... Today's weather was fricken amazing 💓 and the track was dope too. My race started pretty good but I was a little unfocused but once I got around to the 300 mark I started to keep a pace. When I reached around 450 my I remember telling myself that I felt kinda weak and that I needed to speed up but thankfully Ellie came by and I stuck with her until the last 100 and then tried to kick as fast as possible. I could definitely feel my knee bugging big time at this point so I tried to finish before my knee would give out or something and I did 😁 over all: I felt pretty stong and fast despite not being able to reach my pr!

| Well i was pretty sore from roller blading and weight training so my legs were really tight but I don't really think it made a difference in my preformance. The weather was pretty hot but still okay. K so at the beginning of the race my plan was to stick with the group of cedar girls who all had about the same times but some chick that was kinda slow was right in front of me and I couldn't pass her 'till we reached the cones but by then I had already built up this anger and when I reached the cones I started running in a "hostile" matter that I literally couldn't control so I was like in full queen b mode. I was up with first place and then I got this thought like "what did I do?!" Because I had just sprinted for like 200 m. So I just kinda chilled there for a sec and as much as I didn't want to think about being sore, I did. Some how I still had a kick.
Over all: queen b got the best of me but whatever's learned something new.

| I didn't think I would use this again until track season but I'm just too happy rn👍🏾
Coach Roberts has taught us to visualize so much & I love to do it but for some reason I always visualized myself finishing behind addi and Silvia, but I thought.. Since this was region I needed to go into this race thinking I would do everything in my power to stay up with them. Addi lead the first lap which was the short one and she got us in a really good position . Silvia lead the second lap which was the big one. Our pack felt like it was pretty far ahead of everyone but I could hear meskerem telling us to switch leads the whole race. I wish I would've done something before poor Silvia was pushing us all so I lead the last lap. I got such a rush from being in 1st that I just started going faster. Not forgetting about my team I kept snapping my fingers so they knew I wanted them up with me. When I started to over lap ppl I got even more excited and went even faster. Until I reached my kick on the long stretch to the finish. With a time of 20:15.5 ( not a pr but as coach holt put it "Brianna Loya had her best race of the season and won with a decided fashion) not only did I get first in the jv race but if I ran varsity I would've been 11th and I was #6 on the team instead of my usual #10 spot. And the most important part is that, as a team jv girls got 1st and so did our varsity girls and our jv boys, our varsity boys won 2nd.

| Happy thanksgiving! I decided i would try this out again.
Easy run (30min w/6 striders) with my dog spike. My hip barely hurt today so im very thankful for that! I ran out to the dirt mile and went through the two tunnels under the free way so i could run on some atv trails by dino tracks. I actually enjoyed that trail so ill definitely will run there again!

| Josie, ellie, addi, caroline, alli, and i all met up at sullvian at 5 to do our workout. It was really could but once we got going i felt a lot better. Our workout was 1000, 400, 1000,400 with 3 min recovery in between. It was kinda tough because i felt i was going really fast but nowhere near my goal times. We ran on the Dam rd and out of no where a husky decided to run with us until i guess we passed his house but when we flipped he came and ran with us again! We named him max. Fun run. Since i havent been able to do workouts in a while i really enjoyed this.

| I had my early birthday party with some teammates on saturday so i did my run today. 45 min w/quick finish. I ran to hells hole and back with spike. Felt decent.

| Sandy hells (hills).. Im not quite sure how much time i ran tbh.. After doing the first hill my birthday lunch in my stomach was not happy but i kept going because i actually enjoy hills besides the fact that running up the sand is not very fun or that i felt really sick, it was a pretty solid run and i gave it some good effort not gonna lie!
