50 min "pep run"

the weather was pretty great. i asked coach roberts what our goal pace was for the run and he said it was 8:10 but it turned out to be 7:54. my breathing was whack but i felt pretty good besides the tendonitis on the top of my left foot and super tight hips.

felt good but breathing was rough. My foot still hurts. We went a really good pace and its also my favorite trail so i was a happy girl until i tripped for the first time in my whole running career. Scuffed up my knee and tore up my pinky (it sounds a lot worse than it actually was). I waited for addi and Ry to get to the top so i could run back with someone and on the way down i twisted my ankle and fell into a squat but didnt fall so that was clutch.

~~60min, workout: 20min warm up, 6x1min , 2x(5x30sec), 6x1min equal rec w/ lap betw sets; 1 warm/cool to time.  


I really like this workout a lot! I felt good, my foot is still buggin but it was bearable enough to finish the whole workout. We all did very good today. Im actually really proud because i didnt think id have a good season because of so many little things but this was definitely a confidence booster. Did a couple victory hurdles after. Best day ive had in a very long time :)

~~20min warm + sprinter warm-up/agilities+ hurdle practice


Today was all over the place and very confusing because Alli and wanted to "sprint" today so i could help her do hurdles. We did their whole warm up with them but we had no idea they were going to have such hard workout today and alli and i were not about to do 3 workouts in a row. We went for a Harts warm-up with Ryan, came back, and went over the hurdles for what felt like 100 times. Im probably gonna be sore af. Another 4 girls seemed interested in hurdles so now im really excited. Unfortunately coach did bust me for kinda doing whatever we wanted but hopefully we can workout our own schedule soon.

easy grass run with striders. I still feel super slow and out of shape and that's really frustrating for me but I'm already running more minutes than like a whole week of sprinting practice lol. I got some shots on both of my arms yesterday and I could barely move my right arm so I took kids club v chill.

Long run w/ 3x1min pick ups

longest run so far and it was a gr8 one :) really happy with today's run tbh. I can really feel myself get back into to shape now. Running is tight. Ran through hells hole then out to Sullivan and did our pick ups. I decided to do lvl 2 this week but slowly transitioning back to lvl 3 which Is my goal for next week, we'll see how I do¯\_(ツ)_/¯

easy 40 on the turtle or tortoise trail (I'm not a fan of this trail so idc what it's called) it was a pretty good  run I just felt really tired because I didn't get much rest last night. Kinda felt way out of it going out but the way back I felt a lot better.

long run with pickups 

I was late but apparently only like 5 min late from when they actually started running but I didn't know what direction to go so I went out towards prospector but instead of going in the tunnel I went where the houses are being built but it was straight up sand dunes so it felt like I was running in place. When I ran past the houses I was verbally abused by some 50ish looking white male so that was a fun reminder of why we run as a group :( other than that I enjoyed it and felt good.

45min-am 15min tempo at the dirt mile 

Yesterday I felt 10/10 and today I felt 5/10. I did my best to surge but every time I did, I was super weak like right after. I think was pretty close to passing out but it was still a good workout

co-ed run lol. The boys were chillin today so we ran with them and I was honestly having so much fun. Ran to sandbergs and I jumped in with Caroline and then the rest of the team came too so it was like a lit pool party. Felt super good but I'm pretty sore.

Am-70 min w/ 8x100 hills

Nice morning long run on formaster with my ladies. I felt kinda sick which I've been feeling like this for a while now (maybe dehydration & lack of sleep¯\_(ツ)_/¯)  despite feeling gross it was actually a pretty dope run. Felt some tightness down my whole right leg mostly the IT band. Ps. I drank sooo much water today!!!

Pm-15 min 

nice and easy 15. It was supposed to be 20 but my IT band is wack and there's like a knot on my upper hip/butt and I tried to roll it out for like 5 min & it was so painful.

i was like 10 seconds late and I tried so hard to catch up but the girls were really moving!(thanks to jewels) when we flipped I was able to keep up. My butt is doing much better!

 15 min warm with 4xstriders then 4x4min (race pace)=recovery,1:30min w/2 min recovery, and a 2:15min and 10min cool down.

I'm super happy with how I did today. It was probably one of my best workouts. On the first one I wasn't where I wanted to be but I guess I was just trying to get a feel for it. 3rd one was way good. 4th was dope as well. Although I will say the 1:30 was kinda weak lol. 2:15 one was very good though. I love my pack.   Ps. It was like 110 degrees today but I've been drinking water so I'm basically invincible¯\_(ツ)_/¯

  Today we ran at suicidal tendencies which I chose:) it was a dope run but I was super sore from wakeboarding on the sabbath. Coach holt was too chicken to hold a tarantula we found on the trail so of course I held it. I did good today so I'm happy about that. After the run some of the guys + me went to Denny's to say bye to Alli (again).
